Whether you are a yoga teacher, coach, therapist, wellness facilitator, OT, health professional, or a mind-body enthusiast seeking to integrate compassion & trauma-informed yoga (TIY) into your personal or professional life, this 2 day intensive will provide you with practical tools to cultivate compassion for yourself and others through mind-body practices.

This 2 day intensive with online support, provides a deep dive into the application and practice of trauma informed yoga and body-oriented compassion practices, whilst providing comprehensive resources on compassion & trauma theory and approaches. Cultivating compassion through Trauma Informed Yoga equips professionals and enthusiasts with practical tools to enhance well-being for both themselves and their clients, whilst promoting healing and self-compassion.

Via online self-directed resources, and throughout the weekend, participants will experience and practice a range of trauma-informed practices from evidence-based yoga, mindfulness, breathing  & compassion programs, including TCTSY, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, MSC, & more:- that can be integrated into personal or client settings, making this intensive ideal for anyone looking to enrich their existing practice. The program includes 6 months access to a bonus 4 hour online course on Cultivating Compassion Through Trauma Informed Yoga and guidebook to support continued learning and beyond the weekend.

The Cultivating Compassion Through Trauma Informed Yoga 2 day intensive is open to all levels, and experiences and qualifies participants for CPD and Yoga Alliance CET hours.

Over the course of two days, supported by online learning, together we will explore:

  • How trauma impacts the body and mind and how yoga and compassion can be a pathway to healing & integration
  • The role of language, interoceptive movement, environment, and relational safety in trauma-informed yoga & self-compassion.
  • How to integrate Trauma Informed Care (TIC) principles into relationships, classes, and therapeutic settings.
  • How to create breathing, mindfulness, TIY and grounding practices to support resilience and self-compassion.
  • Through guided practices, group discussions & facilitation, and reflective exercises, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how to embody trauma-informed care & compassion —not just in yoga but in your everyday interactions and relationships.

Let’s come together to cultivate compassion, awareness, and healing through integrating body & mind—for ourselves and for those we serve.
