Instructors

Wendy Chan

Founder and lead trainer of Yoga Seeds, Wendy leads the Yoga Seeds Shala's teaching team and the Yoga Seeds Teacher Training Program faculty. Her style of yoga is a unique blend of Classical, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, emphasising the breath in both movement and stillness.

Joanne Ang

Formerly a Biology teacher with a passion for dance, Joanne has always been fascinated by the intricate mechanisms of the human body. She endeavours to cater to unique and diverse needs, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment in her classes.

Meiyan Cheong

Meiyan specialises in both Vinyasa Flow and Yin, and enjoys guiding her students towards finding that beautiful dance between Yin and Yang both on and off the mat. She has a passion for sound healing and incorporates this in her teaching and self-practice with instruments, mantras and music.

Bryan Ng

Bryan is an Osteopathic physician who runs his private practice, The PainFree Clinic, at the Novena Medical Center. He is highly experienced in the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal pain and injuries. This is reflected in his teaching approach through safe and well sequenced classes.

Kimberly Kwa

Kim believes that yoga isn’t about getting into the most complex variation of a pose or conforming the body to a definitive shape. To her, it is about connecting with the breath; movement (or stillness) with each inhale and exhale, while allowing the body to guide the intensity of the practice.

Aldys Kong

Aldys picked up yoga in 2014 as a complementary exercise to her usual running and cycling routine as it helped her her slow down, build strength and improve her range of motion & flexibility. Her passion for inclusivity in yoga shines through in her classes, which are accessible, strong and fun.

Jasmine Yeo

Guided by the simple mantra of #moreyogaformorepeople, Jasmine welcomes students of all levels and backgrounds. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, she meets each individual with compassion. She has almost a decade of teaching experience, and her classes are refreshing and light-hearted.

Kerin Koh

Trained in the styles of Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Adaptive Chair yoga, Kerin believes that yoga is for everyone and seeks to share yoga in line with the needs of each individual. Her positive and nurturing energy encourages you to explore the boundaries of your practice and to just keep trying.

Angie Kang

Angie's warm approach to her classes makes it easy for her students to safely explore their practice under her care. She specialises in MYRing Yoga, a Korean-designed prop meant to aid practitioners in tension release. She emphasises on alignment, and loves playing with unique sequencing.

Wendy & Meiyan

Wendy & Meiyan met in 2016, when Meiyan was looking for a yoga teacher training. The pair have journeyed together from teacher & student, to friends, to peers who now teach alongside each other in that same faculty. Their shared love for Kirtan has led them to host Kirtan circles for the community.
