February marks the Lunar New Year and the beginning of the Year of the Wood Horse (2026). In this special workshop, we gather to honour the spirit of movement, vitality, and collective energy through a unique collaborative art journaling experience.
In this workshop, you'll experience art-making in a new way: not alone, but as part of a creative herd. Working on shared paper with fellow participants, you'll explore what it means to hold your own vision while contributing to others' journeys. Through rotating positions, you'll mark your path, support others' creative energy, and return to discover how your work has been transformed by the collective.
Using mark-making, collage with ang pow packets and festive materials, crayons, and markers, you'll be guided through reflective prompts that invite you to connect with the qualities of the Horse—freedom, vitality, and forward momentum—while experiencing the beauty of co-creation.
This playful, spontaneous process invites you to let go of perfection, embrace the unexpected, and trust in the collective creative journey.
