Wendy Chan

Founder and lead trainer of Yoga Seeds, Wendy leads the Yoga Seeds Shala's teaching team and the Yoga Seeds Teacher Training Program faculty. Her style of yoga is a unique blend of Classical, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, emphasising the breath in both movement and stillness.

Joanne Ang

Formerly a Biology teacher with a passion for dance, Joanne has always been fascinated by the intricate mechanisms of the human body. She endeavours to cater to unique and diverse needs, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment in her classes.

Meiyan Cheong

Meiyan specialises in both Vinyasa Flow and Yin, and enjoys guiding her students towards finding that beautiful dance between Yin and Yang both on and off the mat. She has a passion for sound healing and incorporates this in her teaching and self-practice with instruments, mantras and music.

Bryan Ng

Bryan is an Osteopathic physician who runs his private practice, The PainFree Clinic, at the Novena Medical Center. He is highly experienced in the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal pain and injuries. This is reflected in his teaching approach through safe and well sequenced classes.

Kimberly Kwa

Kim believes that yoga isn’t about getting into the most complex variation of a pose or conforming the body to a definitive shape. To her, it is about connecting with the breath; movement (or stillness) with each inhale and exhale, while allowing the body to guide the intensity of the practice.

Aldys Kong

Aldys picked up yoga in 2014 as a complementary exercise to her usual running and cycling routine as it helped her her slow down, build strength and improve her range of motion & flexibility. Her passion for inclusivity in yoga shines through in her classes, which are accessible, strong and fun.

Angie Kang

Angie's warm approach to her classes makes it easy for her students to safely explore their practice under her care. She specialises in MYRing Yoga, a Korean-designed prop meant to aid practitioners in tension release. She emphasises on alignment, and loves playing with unique sequencing.

Esther Leck

Esther's journey has led her to discover her true joy and purpose, which is the path of Karma Yoga and helping others. She contributes to the community regularly through teaching and organising yoga events for Pay What You Wish SG. Her teaching style is a combination of alignment, breath and flow.

Amenda Suen

Amanda specialises in Hatha, Vinyasa flow, Alignment, and Yin. Her classes focus on mindful breathing, building strength, and improving flexibility. She believes that intentional movement and breath can create space in both body and mind, encouraging students to meet themselves exactly where they are. With a calm and grounded presence, Amenda invites you to step onto the mat and discover the quiet magic of your own practice.

Amenda Suen

Amenda's yoga journey began in 2015 and has since become a daily practice that transformed her life — physically, mentally, and emotionally. After 20 years in the corporate world, she followed her passion and completed her 200-hour teacher training under Anusara.

She understands that continuous learning and further education is necessary, and has furthered her studies with a 60-hour Yin & Anatomy Teacher Training with Yoga Seeds, deepening her understanding of how to support each student’s unique body and practice.

Wendy & Meiyan

Wendy & Meiyan met in 2016, when Meiyan was looking for a yoga teacher training. The pair have journeyed together from teacher & student, to friends, to peers who now teach alongside each other in that same faculty. Their shared love for Kirtan has led them to host Kirtan circles for the community.

Madeleine Phua

Madeleine Phua

Yoga and meditation have taught Mad a simple truth: the past is a memory, the future is an illusion, and the present is the only reality. Living in this truth by being aware of her body, mind, and breath is how she chooses to lead her life.

Mad’s classes are a mindful blend of mobility, therapy, and TCM. She prioritises breath-led movement and stillness, slowness, and intuitive movement.

A dedicated student of the body, Mad is also certified in Sports Therapy, Thai Massage, and MYRing Yoga. To further deepen her therapeutic approach, she is currently pursuing a 300-hour Yoga Therapy course.

Besides teaching, Mad finds comfort in long nature hikes, running, reading, crafting, sleeping (with socks on!), and spending quality time with loved ones.
